Description

Picked up this page because I anticipate this will play a signficant role in Logan's return in the future.

As you already know, Logan slashed at the container of liquid Adamantium as it was about to be injected in the three Weapon X test subjects. Logan was rewarded with hot molten Adamantium covering his body for his heroics. Wolverine made his way out to confront Dr. Cornelius and "died" after heroically saving the lives of those innocent people.

Looking at this page, it appears this will be the eventual way Logan comes back to life. Cornelius made reference to some less than perfect vials of the healing factor he tried to re-create. We see Wolverine reach for some but it appears it was so he could use it on the patients.

I think he used the single vial shown on the tray on himself and found 3 more vials off-panel to save the patients. He may be stuck in statue form in an Adamantium prison but what if the formula in the vial somehow activated Logan's healing factor in the deep recesses of his genes? This could at least keep him alive and in
"hibernation" (Han Solo frozen in carbonite from Empire Strikes Back comes to mind).
Of course, someone would have to figure out and remove the solidified adamantium off of Logan (which Cornelius mentioned he was able to do).

Let the resurrection theories begin!
