My favorite GL, sorry for the bad picture folks, it doesn't do the piece justice. At the local last Spring I told a buddy I wasn't sure what to get due to money, resources, etc and he said there was an artist there someone told him about that I should see who was and I quote, "One of the best artist's/inkers at the show and you've never heard of him." Now I consider myself somewhat worldly so I started chuckling saying yeah right and then he told me Nick Post told him this... For anyone that went to the Minnesota conventions, Nick was one of the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet and I don't mean this lightly. He once offered to give me a piece of art he owned because I missed out on an artist. That's the kind of man he was. Great kind and he will be missed by many... But on with the story, I stopped laughing and listened and when the show started I headed on over to Cory's table. I looked at 2 pieces of art and was convinced. At the Fall show I had the great pleasure of seeing Cory again as well as meeting his lovely Misses, Amy. Twas a fun time at the show, shared art and stories with Amy and got to pick up an amazing Soranik too. Cory drew and inked the figure and Amy did the graphics which I'm glad about. The touch of green and the logo really adds to it. To Amy and Cory, I can't thank you both enough. It was fun and I look forward to seeing you both in the spring.
