DescriptionI bought this page recently on Heritage, John Romita Sr. finishes his pencils on this classic Amazing Spider-Man cover, one he had begun in 1972 as a blue pencil sketch featuring Spidey and Dr. Strange rescuing Flash Thompson. After completing his blue penciled art, John decided it would be enjoyable to finish the blue pencil original version he began in 1972, and in 2007 he finished the drawing, new logo photostats were also added on the Bristol board. This art can be seen in the recently published IDW hardcover book John Romita's Amazing Spider-Man Artist's Edition Volume 2.Social/Sharing |
