More from my CAA talk: "In this 1968 page from the first (and, as far as I can tell, the only) story chronicling the adventures of the parody hero, Sooper Hippie, we can see touches of white-out consistently applied over the vilainess’s (Mary Boppers, bad space lady!) cleavage—clearly indicating that Howie Post, the artist, had gone a bit far in indicating her charms, and that some censorship was in order. You can also see editorial blue-pencil lines correcting the name of the hero to “Sooper Hippie,” indicating that this name was arrived at quite late in the production process—after the penciling, but before the lettering."
