Description

Dave Mooring was one of the most prolific - and nicest - artists active in British sf fandom during the 1990s, juggling commissions with artwork produced gratis for his friends. This is a slight oddity: one of two cover ideas he produced for the semi-prozine Critical Wave (which I co-edited with Martin Tudor), remaining unpublished when we opted for the other. Sadly, Dave died a couple of years ago, aged just 42, but those of us who knew him will never forget the guy.
