DescriptionBeing a HUGE fan of Wolverine I had to grab this when I saw it. It was probably the most hyped image of 2014.I always loved the way Byrne, BWS, Jim Lee, The Kubert Bros and Silvestri drew Logan back when I was so in love with comics. In my view there really had not been anyone recently that did him justice. With OML I thought McNiven had a great take on him and really started to enjoy his work on Logan and Cap. I talked with Steve before NYCC and Spencer as well. Thanks to Doug Peters we were able to get 2 of the best covers in the series in my opinion. Because it is a wash it really is something to behold in person. The more I look at it the more I love it. If he stays "dead' a day or a decade I will always enjoy this work of art. The series was never going to be able to live up to all the press but Steve and Charles did a real solid job. Social/Sharing |

This is a nice and iconic modern piece by the masterful Steve McNiven. He's a great. The series was very enjoyable, more than I thought. Awesome score. Bravo!

Great MNV cover, Mr. Bryan! I agree he's the top "newer" artist to tackle Wolverine.
