Description

Talking with Brian over several conventions I ended up asking him if there were any characters he'd love to do but no one asks for. He mentioned the Thing, which makes sense as Ben is visually very cool but also a New Yorker like Brian. I made a mental note and knew at some point I would ask for that.

At the Long Beach Comic Expo 2015 I saw Brian and the timing was right. Asked Brian for his favorite comic character from Yancy Street. (May not be Brian's favorite character from Yancy Street)

The cigar is appropriately tough, though I forgot to ask for my original concept of The Thing dunking a basketball. Its a beautiful piece and I love to watch artists work in water color.
