Description

Rick Geary has produced dozens of historical murders and mystery graphic novels. I've loved each one of them. The story of the Bloody Benders is one of my favorite volumes of his work. The story is as fascinating as it is gruesome and Geary's cartoonish style makes it even more disturbing, yet somehow more palatable at the same time. This splash page was placed at the front of the story, to depict in detail, how this family committed their crimes against unwary travelers.
