DescriptionWhat can I say, this is a really important moment for me. As a collector, I couldn't possibly dream of someday having a piece of art by the King of Comics himself at home. It's been literally months of efforts until finally Kamandi and Kirby have arrived here. As an original comic art collector, this definitely is a hallmark. Even a modest Kirby piece like mine has a special vibe and substance. Shoutouts go for my pals Keith Veronese and Rafa Domene for their help and patience.Social/Sharing |

Any Kirby page is special, especially your first (mine was from Rawhide Kid). Congrats!

This has a lot of what's so great about Kirby... the rhythm between the panels, and sweep of action in the staging... Jack at his most casually brilliant!

I try to use the same pickup line. Look I can whistle. I'm so very lonely.

That's wonderful. To get your first Kirby page is incredibly special, and to have it be such a great page, with perfectly emotive facial expressions, as well as humor, makes it even better. This is also such a great example of the fact that Kirby could do it all. It's such a charming storytelling page, and an outstanding first Kirby page. Big congratulations on what was obviously a very special acquisition.
