Description

In 1998 Chris Ware held an exhibition in Galerie Année in Haarlem (The Netherlands).
At The opening Dutch comic artist Joost Swarte held a speech in which he talked about 'the upside down vanity symbol'. Later I asked mr. Swarte and mr. Ware to sign the invitation card. Mr. Ware did two drawings. The first one is his alter ego, the other one his interpretation of the Batman.
