Description

Four images from "Under the Hood", the segment that concludes the first few issues of Watchmen and cements the series as a piece of modern literature thanks to a mixture of prose and expansion on the story's pre-history.
The first is bittersweet, coming from the sad tale of Moe Vernon, while the second shows a young Hollis Mason just out of the police academy. The third depicts a newspaper story recounting the brute force tactics of the the Hooded Justice, the first of the "original wave" of heroes in Watchmen history and a central character of the HBO show. The fourth image went unpublished in issue #1 and shows an older Hollis Mason displaying his Nite-Owl mask. The art has a 9 by 12 image size on a piece of approx. 11 by 17 bristol.
