Rorschach quick sketch by Dave Gibbons - Big Wow 2015

I was really lucky to get this as Dave hardly sketches at all. I originally went through his line to have him sign my SDCC Comic Con exclusive Watchmen poster he did for SDCC 2008 to promote the movie coming the following year. (He was part of the panel announcing the coming film and they were only given to attendees of the panel.) It is framed in my bedroom usually, but I brought it to get signed since I have never seen Dave at a con signing. He had a Hero Initiative collection bucket as most artists did there and I threw some money in as he was signing, after he told me he wasn't sketching. Then he said "what the heck, you donated some money" and he took my sketchbook and drew me this. We laughed that we were both named Dave and made some jokes back and forth. Very happy to have anything by him, and this was a cool experience.
