Description

Very large watercolor (bigger than modern comic art) of one of the characters from Thompsons early series about Ind1ans .
(so this is probably late 1930's very early 1940's) Thompson is an amazing artist partially because he had an a illustration career long before he worked in comics and thus was an experienced artist. Have never seen any originals by him before
This is the lead character in his Red Eagle one shot comic from McKay Feature Books from 1938 the first feature book to be an all original story- just picked up a cheap coverless copy
