Description

Bill Bryan has done some incredible montage work in recent years. I wanted him for a JSA commission and thought it would be fun to turn the tables from a typical montage highlighting the hero surrounded by villains, to the opposite villain to heroes.In this case I used Per Degaton and the original 8 members of the All-Star Squadron.

Bill just nailed this head on. Not only is the size out of bounds,19x24,but each character has it's own personality. Really impressed that Bill included Robotman's robot dog Robbie here. Plastic Man looks incredible with his neck stretching throughout the scene.The outline of The Atom's face really stands out too.

Unfortunately the scan I have here leaves some of the art cropped,but it was the best I could do with the size.

Bill is a local talent who I plan on working with again very soon!

Anything with Per Degaton at the center is, by definition, cool.

I think I'm having a theme identity crisis! More Nova to come, just not all consuming!
