Description

He was the second artist to render He-Man in comic book form, following Alfredo Alcala. (Publication-wise, anyway; he recalls having first crack at it, so the mini-comics packaged with the toys may have been published out of sequence.) And now, 34 years later at MCCC, Mark Texeira made a return engagement to The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Adam.

The price for this sketch? $100. Can we say "bargain"?

For those of you wondering, Texeira's He-Man run encompasses the following mini-comics from the old line: "He-Man Meets Ram-Man," "The Ordeal of Man-E-Faces," "The Terror of Tri-Klops," "The Tale of Teela," "THe Power of Point Dread," "The Magic Stealer," and "The Menace of Trap Jaw."
