BATMAN COMMISSION by Adam Hughes

This piece is from the John Read collection. Over the years, John had numerous artists draw Batman for him. This is a beautiful 1992 drawing from the master, Adam Hughes.

Many folks know John from being Editor/Publisher of Stay Tooned Magazine as well as he owns the "One Fine Sunday in the Funny Pages" ..The Traveling Art Exhibition/Museum of Cartoon art. He sold his collection to pursue more with his magazine and then the film studios drug him back to work on movies. John had each artist draw these for him in person over a 28 + year period of time.
