Description

I bought this with the cover of Witzend #7 from Bill Pearson (the cover is long gone-and the marker was fading badly at the time). This art, drawn in pencil on newsprint, was in a fire at Pearson, and has smoke damage on the outer edges. Fortunately there was something else stacked over the body of the art.
This was printed in some magazine, possibly Comic Book Artist, in either a Vaughan Bode or Witzend article. This might be the first drawing of Cobalt 60:it was cetainly done before the story in Witzend #6. It's signed by Bode outside of the scan.
