DescriptionFrom a long-running sci-fi strip that was very popular in Europe but virtually unknown in the U.S. By 1977, when this piece was done (it's from the storyline "The Woman Who Would Be King"), a young Brian Bolland and Paul Neary were both doing ghost work on the strip for Jeff Hawke co-creator and original artist Sydney Jordan. However, I can't say if one or the other was the ghost artist for this daily. Great cheesecake middle panel. Ink on board, and the word balloons and captions are pasted on photocopies.Social/Sharing |
