Wow Ron! Another great pick up, Eisner did everything with such intent, you can look at them over and over and keep finding new subtle things........congrats!

I thought this was a great example of Eisher's genius. So many great panels with wonderfully rendered figures. As you mention, it is more of a supporting cast story, there are some nice Spirit images and a great title panel. I think everything an Eisner Spirit fan could want is in here except perhaps the femme fatale:)

Fantastic pick up Ron! DId American comic strip story telling ever really get better than this great example by Eisner the master? Thanks for sharing this compelling work with us.

Will Eisner was just a master storyteller and a pretty darn good artist and designer. The younger generation doesn't realize that Eisner influenced guys like Frank Miller. It's pages like these in your vintage collection that allow people to get a glimpse of truly legendary creators and the art they left behind. Congratulations on another fine addition and for sharing it with everyone. Cheers! N.
