I honestly did not see that Phil Noto was going to be at New York Comic Con till roughly the week of. What followed was a lot of yelling and frantic working out of what the artist alley layout was. Somehow I managed to get the very last slot of his daily list and of course I asked for Laura because I'm such an X-23 mark. I managed to not stalk his table the entire time like I did at Wondercon (though I did creep around to see what he was drawing during the show).

Phil continues to be one of my absolute favorite artists and I'm so lucky to have gotten the chance to ask him twice for pieces. I'm still just blown away by the way he draws captivating expressions and so much detail in the eyes. Phil's run on X-23 is one of my favorite series in comics so its really incredible to have a rendition of Laura from him. Its just mind blowing to me that I've talked to someone whose art is so moving and how looking at it can make me smile. Hopefully one day I can speak with Mr Noto while not gibbering like a stupid fanboy, but its not likely!

New York Comic Con 2015

(The blank comic is just one that had the most space for art. My other alternative was an Amazing X-men Blank but roughly 1/3rd of it is nothing but logo.)
