A premium I received as a Kickstarter backer for Dan's This Modern World compendium, Twenty Five Years of Tomorrow. I actually don't know exactly when this strip was published. In his TMW collection, it is listed as being from 1998.

It's interesting to look at up close because it's part pen and ink, part collage. I'd love to get more of his strips, but I think he kept most of them.

Collage makes sense as t hat was an early form of doing digital like activity . A wide range of strip cartoonists did it and my guess is some still do
