Description

David Hitchcock is fast becoming one of my favorite commission artists. Of all the homage pieces I've collected I feel David best captured the spirit of Dave Stevens. He said he generally doesn't do pencil only but just look at this work.

David is the creator of the TPB Springheeled Jack. This character was a Jack The Ripper like myth terrorizing London England in the mid nineteenth century. Mr. Hitchcock expanded on the myth exploring a then quote from a supposed eye witness "What ever that thing was, it most assuredly was not of this Earth."

It's beautiful. He should do more in pencil! Congratulations. Your theme and the associated collection is moving very nicely.
