Description

This was the second of two other commissions I got from Ectology.

Robbie and his sister Alesha were the main characters of the 22nd book from 2000 books, "Full Moon Fever." On Halloween night the two are suddenly stricken by a disease that turns them into monsters similar to werewolves. They develop horrible appetites and can barely control themselves, but have to seek their grandfather's help because he's the one who told them about the supposed sickness they suffer from. Unfortunately, they learn there might not be a cure, and then the three of them are abducted by an insane doctor. Their grandfather is held captive while Robbie and Alesha are put on display in a freak show for a month. They somehow manage to escape and head home, where Robbie learns the supposed "sickness" is actually a curse perpetrated by their neighbor, Mrs. Eakins. Why? Robbie and Alesha kicked a soccer ball through her window.

"Full Moon Fever" is considered the worst of the 2000 books because it's practically a copy of the equally loathed "Chicken Chicken." The reason the two are fighting over a candy bar in the commission is because in the book, their transformation was caused by a candy bar labeled "Beast Bar." No, seriously, that's what the label said. Mrs. Eakins also made similarly labeled "Curse Bars." Hey, at least she's dedicated.
