There was a time, long before 'The Khronicles of Khaos', when Deadlock was cool. Never as cool as Hammerstein, of course, but decidedly sinister nonetheless.

This is that time.

Some smashing early work by the late, great Brett Ewins - one of only a few pages he ever drew on the strip.

Lovely page! I loved the mysterious deadlock and it is nice to see him without his cloak.

It's a shame Brett didn't do more ABC stuff - like Kev O'Neill, his angular, stylised art is a good fit.
