Kathy on our honeymoon in November, 1982. It was done on a very cold day in Jackson Square. I kept making her laugh which greatly annoyed the artist.
Me in late February or early March of 1982. I'd gone to NOLA to work in an aluminium plant for my company. The guy I was with picked a hotel in the French Quarter, Dauphine Orleans, and we spent the evenings wandering around it. In one spot, not Jackson Square, but along one of the streets was a guy doing drawings. My colleague convinced me to get one done. I gave it to Kathy. I'd proposed only a short time before.
