The Goon has been one of my favorite comics since the first issue of the Avatar series, and getting an Eric Powell page was on my comic art wish list for as long as I've been collecting. This page hits just about everything on my checklist: moody ink wash, a big monster, and Goon preparing to hack something to pieces. There is also a cool little rough pencil sketch on the back of the page, pictured in Additional Images below.
