Issue #10 is my favorite issue from the entire run so I'm ecstatic to land my 3rd page from the book (if you have any pages you'd like to part with from this book, please let me know!) This piece stars Raphael and features him wise-cracking and head-cracking as he takes out Foot Soldiers. There are just so few battle pages out there, fewer still featuring the iconic Foot Soliders. I love the bottom panel with Raphael exiting the scene to meet up with his brothers, leaving the room littered with battered Foot. And gotta love the Duo-shade board. This issue was created in the early years, before Turtlemania would take the world by storm in the late 80s. They used duo-tone art boards that they hand-cut so no two boards are exactly the same. Classic Eastman and Laird at their best!
