Tarzan by Joe Kubert

A great vintage Tarzan sketch from 1983 done during the Orlando con.

Though I like many versions of Tarzan (Manning's, Buscema's or Garcia Lopez'), it is Kubert's version that is definitive to me. That feeling is even more underlined by the recent superb Artist's edition IDW (Scott) has been releasing (here is hoping for a third volume). With Tarzan or his own Tor, Kubert was perfect at depicting jungle settings (or anything else for that matter).

I'm not likely to ever go so far as to purchase a page from the serie, so this very nice sketch will have to do :)
