Description

As a kid, watching the Merry Marvel Marching Society, Iron Man was my favorite character. Like a modern day knight in shining armor, he saved the day with his high-tech gadgets. I've read Iron Man since the early days of his own title, and, no offense to Gene Colan, Johnny Craig, or any of the other fine artists who have rendered Old Shellhead, but George Tuska will always be, in my mind, the definitive Iron Man artist. I've been fortunate enough to collect a number of pages from this great talent, but I thought I'd start with this striking splash page.
