A few months ago, Elsa had managed to find a slot for me in her increasingly busy schedule to create a large size full-color commission. After a period of discussion, we both agreed on a vintage portrait of Dr Strange, fully under the Ditko influence. This was my only request, the rest was up to her...

Needless to say I was not disappointed!

As usual, Elsa managed to absorb the geist of the character and made it completely her own. Amidst a flurry of typical psychedelic designs, the good Doctor, sitting in classic meditation pose, coincidentally reminiscent of a famous design by Frank Brunner(believe me, this truly is a coincidence: I've checked with Elsa!), gives us a piercing stare that reaches directly to the deepest of our souls...

Am I the only one to think she could take the story from here and make it grand?
