Description

Well what can I say about this!?!
Words fail me really - I have been after a Jimenez Circe for years and thanks to a great pal - Fred - I now have one in my collection. This hobby reminds me that there are lots of great guys, and gals, out there with great hearts. Fred stood inline for me for awhile, waiting on this piece to be done, possibly missing out on other artists himself. I am humbled and grateful that he did!

actually, I have challenge. Anyone reading this post, I urge you to try and help your art collecting brethren. Can be steering them to a good art dealer or giving them contact info for the artist they want to have or even picking something up for them at a show. I think the only ones who understand our...love for this art are others collectors. My family and ex-girlfriends never got this. I know you will. Be good to each other.

Phil's take on the character, like GP's, is definitive !! Love the expression !

I knew how much Kevin wanted a Jimenez to be in his collection but knew he had little chance since Phil doesn't do commissions and rarely travels out side of the US (Honestly he rarely leaves NYC). When he asked me to help, I was happy to do so though I knew I coudl have to sacrifice my chance at a new sketch. Truth is that I had 2 along with a page from his Gods of Gotham story. I like helping others complete their collections so I was happy to do it. I am very glad that Circe is now in her home where she belongs. Take good care of her Kevin

This is why I joined the CAF, so I could meet other collectors like this who might help me get a line Artists I want art from. Other members have done this for me so when Kevin asked me to get this for him, No problem no hesitation. I'm paying the art karma forward. Hopefully that means that Art Adams will finish my piece soon!! Crossing my fingers since I don't dare hold my breathe.
