Description

Since I began collecting commissioned artwork in 2013 I had always had Bob Layton on my list. When I found out he was attending Motor City Comic Con this year I knew the time was right to finally get him. This was set up in advance and features Iron Man and Sunturion from issues 142-144 of the original series Bob was on with JrJr. As much as I loved Bob's Space Armor, I wanted this piece to feature the classic armor that I grew to love. Bob was great to work with and had this done within days of contacting him. He also included this fantastic space background. Great to meet him in person and pick this up!

I LOVE this. It is a very short list who did a space setting better than Layton and seeing Iron Man against that background is a thing of beauty. Bravo!

I had a similar experience when setting up a commission with Bob to pick up at a local convention. He's easy to communicate with, fast, and extremely professional. He was also fun to talk to at the show. This looks fantastic!
