Description

On April 1st, 2016, my best friend died. Her name was Patricia J. Thompson, she was one of my college professors during my first semester at Lehman, and she was one of the closest friends I ever had.

Prof. Thompson considered herself a Hestian Feminist, and had created a Hestian/Hermean type of system on the private and public lives. She didn't believe in the way Home Economics was a trivialized course of education and believed in it as the economics of the home.

What started off our friendship was I was the one person in class who knew who Hestia was right away.
