Description

We are fans of the Game of Thrones TV show at our house and Rebecca as it turns out is a big Jack Gleeson (King Joffrey) fan. I had no clue!

Anyway, Gleeson was appearing at Fan Expo Dallas 2016 and she decided to get his autograph. She'd seen a friend's sketch book and decided this was a good time to start one.

At the show, she commissioned Brent Peeples to draw Joffrey on the Iron Throne. When it was done, she took it to Jack for his signature.

Our VIP pass got us to the front of the line and we had a really nice chat. Among other things, he mentioned he was living in London and Rebecca mentioned that she was going there the following October to see the new Harry Potter play.

Later, we came back and there was no line and I told her she should ask him to go to the play with her. She was reluctant so I said I'd pay her $10 if she'd do it. She agreed and went over to ask.

He said he'd love to! Sadly though when he checked his calendar, he was scheduled to be at the NY Comic Con on that weekend. Still, I was proud she asked and she was glad she did.

BTW, Brent swore he'd never do the Iron Throne again!

Meet the artist, have him draw the King, then meet the King and have him sign the drawing... HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!
