Gabby Zapata is a visual development artist at Disney Interactive and a graduate of Ringling College of Art & Design. I learned of her from this Knights of the Light Table podcast. I browsed the Gabby Zapata store and found this Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) gouache piece. I love Gabby's rendition of the character. I read and enjoyed the first two volumes written by G. Willow Wilson and drawn by Adrian Alphona. Kamala's situation reminds me of the early Peter Parker/Spider-Man stories.
