DescriptionThis original watercolor painting was used for the front panel of the McDonald's 1987 The Real Ghostbusters "Schoolhouse" Happy Meal box. The illustration depicts Slimer posing as a model for Ray in an art class. The half-finished portrait of the green ghost makes up a drawing exercise on the printed carton called "Silly Slimer."The Real Ghostbusters Happy Meal "toys" were in actuality school supplies for kids heading back to class, since the promotion took place in September. The prizes included a Stay Puft pencil sharpener, a Containment Chamber pencil case, a Real Ghostbusters pencil with a Slimer topper, a Stay Puft notepad with a No Ghosts logo eraser, and a Stay Puft notepad with a Real Ghostbusters ruler.
