Description

This was the first sketch in my Marvel U book.This obscure character is one of my favorite characters of all time as I got into comics through the original Secret Wars series.I thought that her and the Molecule Man's relationship was sweet (hey I was only 6) and after reading her vital statistics in the Marvel Universe Handbook could not understand why all the characters would make fun of her weight.I was just a kid I didn't understand the difference between real world fat and comic book fat.One of the reasons I started the sketchbooks was to get to see new interpretations of characters that are in comic limbo.I love Stephane Roux's depictions of lovely ladies and I figured if anyone could make the character look sexy it was him.I think he did a fantastic job on the sketch particularly given the fact that I gave him the further handicap of depicting her in her human form.Although I am happy with this piece it led me to think about picking charcters with much better visual appeal rather than just my favorite characters.This was done at C2E2 2015.
