Description

I realized I was missing a Batman on a gargoyle piece in my collection. I found a collection of photos online of construction guys working on skyscrapers in the twenties and thirties, and one in particular appealed to me. It was a couple of guys sitting on this gigantic birds head, having a smoke. I believe it was the Chrysler building. But after seeing the photo, I got to thinking, "What if some day all the lunatics were safely locked up in Arkham and all the other criminals were in prison, maybe Batman would just chill out and take a break while on patrol". So today I got the chance to tell my idea to James O'Barr at All-Americon and he seemed to like it. He said it was a fun piece to do, and after he was finished he went outside for a smoke. :)
