Description

I've always wanted a Simpsons sketch by the original creator Matt Groening. Well, at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, I heard rumors that Matt Groening was doing approx. 25 sketch covers per day that they would be selling at random points throughout the day at the Bongo booth.

A friend of mine who works at Bongo offered to let me know when Groening would be at the booth. I came over to the booth to find him, but didn't see him. Then he popped out of a secret back room. When I popped my head inside, it was like I had peeled back the curtain to reveal the great Oz! That is where Groening was doing the sketches. My friend didn't come out for another 10 minutes. I figured I had gotten him in trouble with the big boss. Instead, he emerged with this... the Homer sketch I wanted with a personalized joke. It made my show!
