I'm really awed by Mark's work, his Star Wars and Indy are an amazing contribution to both franchise's.

I finally plucked up the courage to contact Mark with a proposition of a commission, which was totally outside of both franchise's. Well actually there were 6 options, after a number of emails we decided on the character Rita played brilliantly by the superbly talented Emily Blunt.
My loose brief was that I wanted a War Poster with slogans.
This is the final result with explanation in Mark's own words below.

'I have purposefully kept it muted and weathered - bordering on Grunge, given that its a war poster. Her pose is purposefully strong which I hope you feel is fitting for the Angel of Verdun.'
