DescriptionAn imposing and haunting image of Hans von Hammer, the titular Enemy Ace of WWI, who stands amidst the fog of war, framed by doves at the top and barbed wire at the bottom. Although he was a pilot for the Germans, von Hammer was a man of honor and chivalry, torn by his duties and the constant death surrounding them. Pratt's Enemy Ace work was fantastic! I am happy to own a single page, but this piece is magnificent. As dark and moody as the War must have been.
