BATMAN VS THE INCREDIBLE HULK 3D shadowbox paper sculpture 2016 for client Sal Pass

Recently client Sal Pass commissioned a 3D paper sculpture based on BATMAN VS THE INCREDIBLE HULK (DC SPECIAL SERIES #27 1981) cover by Garcia-Lopez using images printed from the internet, not actual comic covers.
The 3D is actually smaller than the original Treasury-sized book due to the internet images used, but larger than a regular comic book. Also due to variances in color and sharpness, the sculpture was built up from 30 printouts of 2 images. It measures 8 x 10.5 x 5 inches and took over 40 hours by hand with an Exacto knife, balsa wood, and other tools.
Sal has opted to frame the 3D himself instead of my handling that as I usually would.
A video scanning over the 3D and photos were sent to Jose in a private message on Facebook. He responded "It's a wonderful work Todd! Thanks for sharing it, I love it:)"
