I have always admired Gil Kane's work but, especially his westerns. I searched for a long time and was very happy to find and secure this piece. I love the emotiveness of this cover page. A copy of the as published cover is included below.

You, my friend, have excellent taste...I owned this cover for a brief period in time. Bought it from either Burkey or Snyder at SDCC one year, but in the end I overspent and a good friend of mine helped me out and took it of my hands. I remember that it really is a breathtAking piece in person. I'm not much of a western fan bur Gil Kane just knows how to make the cool.

Brilliant! That's a lovely thing to own. Kane's lines are so well chosen, and the face of the gunslinger on the left is just superb.
