I got to meet Jim Woodring yesterday at SPX 2016, and buy this piece directly from him. Great guy, and great artist. Certainly one of the top underground artists (or really, any artists) of his generation. Jim said that this was a favorite piece of his (he loved the composition) and he hated to see it go. But he did, and I am glad.

Frank looks quite astonished! I love the black moon with wings, and that strange tree-thing. Very nice pick-up Ben!
