Description

Years ago when the Darkness was still pretty new, I could swear that I saw a necktie in the Previews magazine featuring Daffy Duck as the Darkness with the other looney tunes in the background shadows as darklings. The tie had the logo above it as "The Duckness." I've always loved the image, but never saw it again. I've even asked Silvestri about it and he didn't know what I was talking about. At this point, I'm not sure I didn't imagine the whole thing. Shortly after, I joined the Top Cow Message Boards and coined the name "duckness" as my message board handle. When I started attending cons, I had a sketch theme of characters portrayed as ducks. At the last SDCC I got a commission from artist James Silvani. An artist with an animation style known for Dark Wing Duck comics, and he put in a darkwing duck as a darkling in the shadows. It brought me back to the tie, and I had to commission this from him. I told him the story, and this is what he did. Its actually fairly close to what I think I remember. Love it!
