Description

For me, when it comes to DC heroes, Superman is 1A to Batman's 1B. Surprisingly, I did not have a standalone commission of the Man of Steel larger than a sketch cover.

That's not the case anymore.

Gary Frank's Superman is the quintessential Superman to me. Everything in the eyes and smile hints at Smallville doing his best to do right each and every time. I asked Gary if he would depict Supes majestically over Metropolis or the Daily Planet. Gary did that and more. Superman is taking flight. The look on Superman's face is timeless.

Gary was gracious and kind at the show, glad I was able to chat briefly with him. I look forward to adding more of his art to my collection.

Preshow pick-up at NYCC 2016.

That's an amazing piece- worthy of a poster or cover! Really a showpiece- I'd frame and display such a great piece!
