Description

Brilliant sense of composition, skillful use of color, great attention to detail: if you look at this piece and other similar early works by Sciotti (Rome, 1944) you can easily understand why, after some years spent as an illustrator and comic book cover artist, he then became one of the most prolific and appreciated painters of movie posters in Italy.

This nice painting was published as the cover of "Il Segno di Zorro" issue #7 - 1971, released in Italy by Cogit.

A Great Zorro cover with stellar composition - Somehow covers like this brings my thoughts to those huge vintage italian movieposters wich i fancy so much, A great pick up!
