DescriptionEugenio Sicomoro - pen name of Bruno Brunetti (Rome, 1952) - is one of those artists whose style is continuously changing over the years: from his early stories published on the Italian magazine "Lanciostory", where he was strongly influenced by master Serpieri, to his many works for the most famous French publishers (Albin Michel, Dargaud, Glénat, just to name a few), where his style, still very realistic and detailed, has become sharper and cleaner; and then, again in Italy, his works for the publisher Bonelli, as Martin Mystère (where the style is similar to his French period) and even Magico Vento (where he opted for a quite more impressionistic approach). This nicely detailed and atmospheric page is from Giant Martin Mystère #4, titled "La Maledizione del Sahara" (The Curse of Sahara) and released in 1998.
