Krypto gets his name. This post Crisis version of Krypto was an Earth born dog belonging to Bibbo, Superman's friend. As you can see from the page, Bibbo intended to name him Krypton to honor Superman but refused to pay extra for the "n."

That is a classic page in the ever evolving "Krypto " saga. To use Super-Pet vernacular, it is "Ace !" indeed.
