DescriptionThis was acquired unsigned and unattributed, but I'm about 90% sure that it's a Lou Marchetti piece. If you look through the known Marchetti covers, one of his characteristic "tropes" seems to be grasses in the foreground with dabs of red and yellow representing flowers. This piece was painted for a 1968 paperback printing of "Hurricane in the Keys" by Henry Hayes Stansbury under the Popular Library imprint. Based on some online reviews, it was not a very good book!Social/Sharing |
